Banded bird dogs are a form of exercise that targets the core muscles, particularly the abdominals and lower back. To perform banded bird dogs, one typically begins on all fours with a resistance band looped around the feet. Alternating between extending one arm and the opposite leg while maintaining a stable core helps improve balance, coordination, and overall core strength.
