(G12) Banded Wood Chop Rotation

The Banded Wood Chop Rotation is a compound exercise that targets the core, shoulders, and obliques. Begin by attaching a resistance band to a sturdy anchor point above shoulder height. Stand sideways to the anchor point with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold the band with both hands, arms extended overhead on the side closest to the anchor. Keeping your arms straight, pivot your feet and torso as you pull the band diagonally down across your body towards the opposite hip, engaging your core and obliques. Slowly return to the starting position with control and repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides. Focus on maintaining proper form and controlling the movement to effectively engage the targeted muscles throughout the exercise.
